Fatjon undertook a series of important works to our much loved Edwardian home. He restored and replaced barge boards and made a beautiful finial by hand! It is the best one in our street! He is a fabulous carpenter- he can fashion almost anything from wood. He has all-round building and decorating skills. He refurbished our worn out Edwardian conservatory which some builders didn’t want to touch. He replaced some windows, created shelves and replaced patio decking that was broken and no longer suitable. He was very diligent, kept us informed and showed pride in his work. When some paint proved to be of poor quality he returned to sort the problem out even though it was not his fault. Fatjon always looked for the best solutions - when we needed our porch to be replaced he looked at other porches in the area to see the materials and techniques used. He noticed how one solution involved hiding the pipe work and suggested this to us even though the job was more fiddly to carry out. He provided good value for money because his work was always sound. He was honest, clear, helpful.
